LaManchaDQ,

have a look on this site:

"Outlook 2007 uses only Word as the e-mail editor"

Default turn off Word as email editor in Outlook 2007

Oliver

Thank you for your response and the link. However the kb article is not
clear on whether i can completely turn off word as the email editor when I am
not sending or receiving html mail. That page spoke about only the
relationship between word and IE and use of those rendering engines in this
and other versions of Office.

For example in Outlook 2003, under Tools/Options there were check boxes
that allowed me to select/deselect Word as the email editor. Is that option
somewhere in Outlook 2007?
