Outlook 2003. We just changed our users over to a new domain. We used the
StartProgramsAccessoriesSystem ToolsFiles and Settings Transfer Wizard tool to save user profiles and then restore them after the domain change. Unforuntately, I found that Outlook filters, signatures, and email accounts were not restored. How can I retrieve these, especially the signatures that folks had setup in Outlook prior to the domain switch? Thanks for any help. -- Dr. Doug Pruiett Good News Jail & Prison Ministry www.goodnewsjail.org |

Dear Jocelyn:
Is there anything I can do "after the fact" to retrieve the settings that existed before the domain switchover? I have the Office wizzard you refer to, but it is good only if you save settings before a domain change. No. I have not deleted the local users. The old user profiles still exist
on the C: drive. However, new profiles were created when they joined the new domain and logged in. What I am asking is, "How can I retrieve the Outlook information such as signatures and filters now that the users are on the new domain?" I used the Windows "Files and Settings Transfer Wizard" to save and restore all Windows stuff. I failed to use the Microsoft Office "Save My Settings Wizard." How may I retrieve their Outlooks settings after the fact from their old profile which still exists on their C: drive?? -- Dr. Doug Pruiett Good News Jail & Prison Ministry www.goodnewsjail.org "Roady [MVP]" wrote: Meaning you've deleted the local users already? -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more ----- "Chaplain Doug" wrote in message ... Then you can log on as the local user and still retrieve it.
