We recently upgraded to Vista after our hard drive crashed. Despite help
from my internet provider, I am unable to connect to their server using
Outlook 2000 to access my email. There is no trace of a Send/receive button.
In fact, when I look in About Outlook, it specifically says "No email" under
Microsoft Outlook 2000. My internet provider seems to think something in the
configuration of Outlook needs changed. I am grateful for any help that can
be provided. I currently go to the webmail page to check email but would
much rather have it accessible from Outlook as it was prior to our hard drive
crash.

Thank you. I followed the link and found the configuration instructions.
(The instructions did not say that the computer must be restarted for the
changes to apply, simply that Outlook must be shut down. In fact the changes
only worked after the computer was restarted.)
