Default Outlook 2007 fails to start the first time after intall

After installing Office 2007 ultimate I attempt to run Outlook 2007. It
starts up and has a window pop up that says migrating account settings. It
just hangs here with no activity on the system at all. It never gets any
further and doesn't seem to be doing anything. No hdd or processor usage is
noticable.
Any suggestions?

Hi,

Seems like the Outlook profile currently set is corrupted.
Try creating a new profile under Control Panel Mail and configure your
email account.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829918 (Applied to Outlook 2003)

Once you have the new profile, try to open Outlook in the new profile.
If it works fine, you could go ahead and import the data into Outlook using
Import/Export wizard.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287070 (Import/Export wizard)

Hope it helps!!!

Rgds,
Mittu
