Is there a way to move just the email account settings - no mail, no
contacts, etc - from one computer to another? I've got two machines side-by-side. As near I can tell, all the settings for my email account are the same on both, but one can send/receive email no problem, the other sometimes only can receive after I send something, sometimes can neither send nor receive at all. I'd think the problem would have something to do with the firewall, but I get the same problem whether or not the firewall is disabled. So I'd like to try moving the account settings from one computer to the other... |

You have a "Save My Settings" wizard with Outlook 2003 which should take
care of that. Its one of the "Microsoft Office Tools". http://support.microsoft.com/kb/312978/en-us How to use the Save My Settings Wizard to back up user settings in Office XP Hal -- Hal Hostetler, CPBE -- Senior Engineer/MIS -- MS MVP- Print /Imaging -- WA7BGX http://www.kvoa.com -- "When News breaks, we fix it!" Thanks, but is there a way to save JUST my email account settings? There are
a bunch of other settings that I want to keep different between the two machines.
