Hi,

I am not sure what the technical name for them are, but when you type the
name in the TO section of the email, sometimes it will pop up a list of
possible names to choose from.

Is there a way to automatically wipe these out and can it be automated
(registry key) so that it gets applied to all of our staff

Thanks

This is the suggest names feature found at Tools Options Prefs. tab
E-mail Options button Advanced E-mail Options.

To wipe this list centrally, you would have to figure out a way to delete
the profile_name.NK2 file located at \documents and
settings\userid\application data\microsoft\outlook while Outlook is
closed.

Thanks

I checked and I cannot find a file with that extension in that location ...
I also did a search for all files that end in NK2 and nothing came up.

Please make sure that you search for hidden files and folders.

by profile name.nk2 ... are you referring to the outlook profilename or the
users profile?

It`s the outlook profile name. Just search for *.nk2 if you do not have
a large number of profiles.
