We currently use roaming profiles at my company for people to maintain
their outlook settings when going to different offices. I've seen posts regarding the ability through prf files to set the exchange name to the login name if they are the same. My problem is that my login name is jotto, but my exchange user name is otto, john. I'm assuming I can change the name os the Exchange server name through registry hacks, but any ideas on stripping the first character off the %username% to have outlook hopefully be able to match the name to a exchange user name? |
