Default Outlook 2007 Save My Settings Wizard, where's the profile stored?

I have been doing a lot of reading on Outlook 2007 and have yet to find an
answer to my question. Since the "Save My Settings Wizard" is not available
in Outlook 2007, where are the settings stored? Is there a way to back them
up so I do not need to type in all of my email accounts information again? I
upgraded from 2003 and all my settings remained. I was then having a problem
with McAfee and completely uninstalled Office 2007. When I corrected the
McAfee issue, I reinstalled Office 2007 but had to manually enter all 12 of
my email accounts back in. I do have my settings in an ops file from 2003,
but there was no way to import them since the settings wizard is gone. The
settings have to be stored somewhere besides the pst data file... Just not
sure where.

Thanks

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
Messaging Subsystem\Profiles is where mail profile data is stored. Other
settings locations can be found he

Thanks Brian,

I exported the registry settings for the profile. If I had to reinstall
outlook, would I just merge the registry file and have my accounts set up?
Does this include all of my email addresses and passwords?

Thanks

I've never done it, but I suspect that the passwords won't carry over. Just
run the .reg file.

I believe I did this with Office 2003 when it was first release. I doub;t
all the settings are ther to keep my current profile without having to enter
any additional information and possibly the emaill addresses as well. I have
no idea why MS would do something as stupid as to remove the settings
wizzard. It made life so much easier for many of us... Thanks for your
help. Hopefully there is someone else out there with more knowledge on the
matter.

You know, the Save My Settings wizard uses a text control file to determine
what data and registry settings to save. I can imagine (though I haven't
tried) it running if simply copied to the Outlook 2007 system. The control
file could be edited to reference the OL 2007 registry settings. It would
be worth a shot, in my opinion.

Well I found the PROFLWIZ.EXE file on my Office 2003 cd and tried to run it.
I get an error that the INI file is not in the same folder... Does anyone
still have Office 2003 installed that can tell me where the PROFLWIZ.EXE is
located on their system and what INI files are present?

Thanks

%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\PROFLWIZ.EXE and
%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\OPW11USR.INI

You can try Recource kit Office 2003 and Profile Wizard. This is
working!
