I upgraded my Office 2003 installation from the (final?) Office Pro 2007
image on MSDN. Now when OL 2007 starts it displays the Mail Folders tree on the left, but if I clik on a folder it says: "Cannot connect display the folder. You do not have sufficient permission to perform this operation on the this object. See the folder contact or your system administrator." Any ideas? I have played around with account settings etc in Mail control panel applet including deleting my email account and recreating it etc. I might try uninstalling Outlook and trying again. Cheers Phil |

I installed Outlook 2007 and am having the same problem. Public folders that were visible on OL 2003 are now showing a message "Cannot display the folder." Wish I knew how to fix it up.

What same problem? Have you tried a new mail profile?

Same problem here - Outlook 2007 running against Exchange 2003.
Problem affects public folder of type task, but not of type calendar "Download Public Folder Favorite" seems to help for favorite folders but is far from ideal. Any help is appreciated.
