Hello,
I upgraded from Office 2000 to Office 2003 by uninstalling 2000 and then installing 2003. I wrongly assumed that the Calender would not be touched, same as contents of mydocuments. The Calender was erased along with much needed details. I have tried system restore to a time before the change, but the .pst file remains the newest, unwanted one. I imported the archive, but it only shows entries 5 months old, not the current months. Is there anyway to recover my original calender (.pst)? When I uninstalled 2000 and installed 2003 was the file overwritten? If so is there anyway to recover it? Greatly appreciate any help with this problem! |

Thank you for the reply.
The old .pst is not in the outlook folder, it was apparently overwritten by a blank .pst. "DL" wrote: Open the 'old' pst in OL "Bagua" wrote in message ... If you installed OL2003 this process should not have overwritten any earlier
pst's, whether you uninstalled OL2k first or simply upgraded Search, to include hidden for *.pst PS Do not use Import/Export on a pst, you will likely lose data. In OL FileOpenData File.........browse to location, copy stuff to new if req. "Bagua" wrote in message ... Thank you for the reply. After the above there was only the one outlook.pst which was empty. I imported an archive.pst, but it is missing data from the last several months. An advanced search including all hidden files turned up no other .pst files. Is there anything else I might try? I have also used a recovery program to search deleted files, it also turned up no other .pst files.
