Default Couldn't read old backup file

Can anybody help me?, I've just installed Vista RC1 but prior to install it
I've obtained a back up copy of all my mails & accounts in Outlook 2007 (beta
2 version).
To do so, I've exported all my personal folders to a .PST file, but when I
installed Vista RC1 & re-installed Office 2007 Beta 2, the back up file
couldn't be opened, read or imported. The massage I get is that I've not
enough authorization level to open the file, but I'm logged in
w/administrator rigths and the user used to create de back up & the new user
are the same.
Does anybody knows what is happening? my old mail file contains more than
2,000 messages and need urgently to open it.
Thanks
German

Exporting is never the correct way to transfer Outlook data. It is an
excellent way to corrupt it, however.
If you are lucky the problem will be something simple like the fact that the
file has acquired a read only attribute, which you can remove. If not, you
are out of luck since the Inbox Repair Tool does not work in beta 2.
I assume you do not really urgently need to open this file, do you? You
would not have migrated to beta on beta software without maintaining good
backups of all data. Just obtain a copy of your original Outlook data file
and use it. You also need to update to B2TR, since B2 does not work reliably
on RC1.
