Default Is there a way to set the default save as in outlook to a .msg

I was hoping there is a way to set the default "save as" file type to a .msg
in outlook xp 2002. I notice if you drag and drog a message from outlook to a
folder it will save the email as a .msg file. Otherwise it will save as html,
(which will NOT save attachments). I am sure this can be done, But how?
Thank you in advance.

I don't know of any way to do that. The default Save As file type will be
RTF for a Rich Text message, HTM for an HTML message and TXT for a Plain
Text message.

Indeed, and selecting more emails at once, they will be saved together
in one txt-file, using the File | SaveAs option of Outlook.

The only solution for having an easy way of saving e-mail to the
filesystem can only be found in third parties software.
