Outlook 2007 beta CD will not install
My computer (733 MHz Celeron) meets the requirements of the 2007 beta
i.e. "Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack (SP) 2, 500 megahertz (MHz) processor or higher; 256 megabyte (MB) RAM or higher". It does not even see the CD in the drive. When I put the install CD in another computer that is a Pentium 4, it sees the CD. However, I do not want to instll the beta on that machine. |

That's odd. Are these two machines networked? You could share the CD drive
on machine B to access from machine A? Sorry, I have no other reasonable solution. "Lewbob" wrote in message ups.com... In addition to William;
Are you sure that it is on a CD and not a DVD? If it is on a DVD you'll need a DVD-drive instead of a CD drive. -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more ----- "Lewbob" wrote in message ups.com... That is probably the issue. I ordered the Beta from Microsoft. The
machine that can "see" it has a DVD/CD drive the other just has a CD drive. Roady [MVP] wrote: In addition to William; Are you sure that it is on a CD and not a DVD?
