I have configured my notebook (Windows XP Home SP2) and Outlook 2003 to
communicate with our Exchange 2003 Server via RPC over HTTP. It works fine if i connect the notebook to our LAN or dial in directly via RAS. If i use another internet provider i get no connection. Any ideas ? Andreas |

When you are connected to the LAN or RAS, start Outlook with the /rpcdiag
command line switch and verify that you are connecting via RPC/HTTPS. If you get a TCPIP connection, then you can start with the basic checks (e.g. Open Internet Explorer and type: https://fqdn.of.server/rpc. Do you get a security alert dialog about the certificate? If yes, Outlook will never connect until this problem is rectified.) "AS" wrote in message ...
