Mail Server Authentication with Bellsouth
Outlook 2007 failed to send email through my bellsouth account until I let it
configure itself through "repair". Now, it works but only when I don't authenicate my login and password with the smtp server? I'm not sure that it is what is actually happenning, but that is the configuration of the account required to work... Does that mean that my outgoing mail box identity is wide open? |

No. But it might mean you can't send email. See if removing the account and
adding from scratch helps. Enter the settings manually - skip letting Outlook configure it. -- Bill R MVP "Nathan Manning" wrote in message ...
