Sending to more than one person via Outlook on Terminal Server
I know this sounds a little wierd but, we have a problem using Outlook 2003
from Terminal Server 2003 R1. If there is more than 1 user to which the email is addressed the message appears to go into a black hole. There is no bounce message, no error message no nothing. The email is transmitted but those to which the email is addressed never receive the message. If you send an email to one person there is no problem. Configuration Outlook 2003 Terminal Server 2003 Email Host is our Web Provider and connection is via POP3 Send email using Outlook 2003 on Terminal Server 2003 to more than one person on TO:, CC: or BCC: fields and message appears to be transmitted but, never reaches destination. Send email using Outlook 2003 on Terminal Server 2003 with only one person (the addressee can be placed in TO:, CC: or BCC: field but, there cannot be more than one addressee for the message) and message reaches destination no problem. Send email using (same account / user) Outlook 2003 on Windows XP to more than one person on TO:, CC: or BCC: fields and message is transmitted with no problem. Our web host also provides a web interface for email and it works with multiple addressee's. The only time multiple addressee's fails is when using Outlook via Terminal Server. -- Jim Cooper |
