So I have Outlook 2003 on an older hard drive, currently slaved as drive D,
and the new larger drive with everything installed fresh as my new C; drive. So, how do I get all of my personal folder,s contacts, and calendar items off the old drive, into the newly installed outlook? I found plenty of articles on how to import from Express, but how do I bring into the new app from an older installation? |

_adrian,
I imported my old .pst fles from a win98 disk that I hooked up as the D: (the drive was ported into a USB portable case, but it should work on a slave). You just have to find the .pst file that is buried in the system folders for Outlook - I found them by searching for .pst files on the D: "_adrian" wrote: So I have Outlook 2003 on an older hard drive, currently slaved as drive D, and the new larger drive with everything installed fresh as my new C; drive. NEVER import a .pst file unless you don't mind losing all types of important
information and connections. Simply open it using File-Open-Outlook Data File from within Outlook. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact.
