Outlook 2010- Options will not save
 

When in Outlook 2010 and attempting to change an option in FileOptions
changing any value results in an error message "the file does not exist"

Have you tried closing Outlook and rebooting Windows?

Yes of course, have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, 2010 creating a new
PST, Scan PST. Any changes to the Options in Outlook will not save, but they
are OK in Word/Excel.
