... I just checked for auto formating while typing under OOo and it is here under 2.0.4 and 2.4.0 too. Although it was turned off under 2.0.4. Also Smart Type Assistant does this with all applications. STA only works for while you are typing thought. It can't convert already typed text. We've wandered far afield for an Outlook newsgroup. Continue in a more appropriate forum. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

I use external editors all of the time with Outlook and Outlook Express. That is because I find the built in ones too wimpy and lack features like change case, macros, reformatting, etc. So where does one ask questions about external editors in use with Outlook? -- Bill Gateway MX6124 ('06 era) - Windows XP SP2 |

The guideline for *this* newsgroup is to write in standard English. These are some alternative sentence cases used in standard English: UPPER CASE, lower case, Title Case, and Proper Case. Look it up. Here are some others less often used, CamelCase, Start Case, and sTuDlYcApS. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sentence_case "Arocdnicg to rsceearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer are in the rghit pcale. So how do you expect to move on when you refuse to learn anything? And looking down your nose at people who are much smarter than you also sounds like a dumb thing to do as well. But then again ostriches get by just fine sticking their head in the sand. So why can't you, right Brian? -- Bill Asus EEE PC 702G4 ~ 2GB RAM ~ 16GB-SDHC Xandros Linux (build 2007-10-19 13:03) |
