First Name Last Name Confusion
In Outlook 2003, if I create a new contact and click the 'Full Name'
button I can enter the details in the 'Check Full Name' form as first 'john' and last 'smith'. But on closing the form the Full Name is shown incorrectly as Mr. Smith John. 'File As' is shown correctly as Smith, John. Anyone any idea what is causing this? DAvy |

FullName Order is a separate setting from FileAs - go into Contact
Options settings and adjust accordingly (the setting will apply to new contacts - not pre-existing ones) Karl __________________________________________________ _ Karl Timmermans - The Claxton Group ContactGenie - Importer 1.3 / DataPorter 2.0 / Exporter "Power contact importers/exporters for MS Outlook '2000/2007" http://www.contactgenie.com "Davy" wrote in message . 109.145... @TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl: FullName Order is a separate setting from FileAs - go into Contact Options settings and adjust accordingly (the setting will apply to new contacts - not pre-existing ones) Karl Karl, thanks for that, sorted. One rainy day I will go through all the menu items in Outlook! cheers DAvy |
