Default Disconnecting the Tasks below Calendar from To-Do Bar in MicrosoftOutlook 2007

In Outlook 2007 Is there a way to make the Tasks that appear below the
calendar work independently from the To-Do Bar? It seems like a
duplication to have them appear in both places.

But when you are in Calendar, the To Do bar isn't there....

No. You can hide the taskpad in the calendar (pull the bar down or view,
daily task list) or close the to-do bar.
