Synchronising public folder to personal folders
Is there a built in function to do this or any code that can be written?
I have tried a number of 3rd party products and all seem a bit "rubbish". Thank you. Richard |
Synchronising public folder to personal folders
Hi Richard,
Is there a built in function to do this or any code that can be written? I have tried a number of 3rd party products and all seem a bit "rubbish". I only know this site with a list of 3rd party tools: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/sync.htm http://www.mapistore.com/Outlook/Bac...d_Synchronize/ -- Oliver Vukovics Share Outlook without Exchange: Public ShareFolder Share your contacts, calendars or e-mails http://www.publicshareware.com "Richard Edwards" schrieb im Newsbeitrag ... Richard I've heard that www.diditbetter.com can sync public folders to mailbox folders, but I don't know about personal folders (and the latter are best avoided). |
Synchronising public folder to personal folders
If you have personal folders, the only way you could sync is if the client
is running, logged in (to Windows) and running Outlook. As LANWench says personal folders are not good. slipstick or diditbetter offer tools for Exchange sync. Why do you want to sync the personal folders? "Lanwench [MVP - Exchange]" ahoo.com wrote in message ... "Richard Edwards" wrote in message ... Richard I've heard that www.diditbetter.com can sync public folders to mailbox folders, but I don't know about personal folders (and the latter are best avoided). i had also the same problem. i need to import automatically the contacts from an exchange public folder into a database every night. i have not found a good solution to export the contacts from public folder, but its easy to make a programm which export the contacts from outlooks personal folder. so i am searching for a way to sync the public folder with my personal folder. if anyone is interested how i export the contacts from personal folder, look he http://www.tutorials.de/forum/java/2...-mit-java.html unter rohstoff77 i post my code thx |
