newsreader with outlook
I currently use Office 2003 and Outlook Express. We are upgrading to Office
2007 and will be making the move to Outlook. Is there a way to access the newsgroups that are available to me through Outlook Express once I make the move to Outlook 2007? |

Outlook 2007 can use OE as a newsreader.

No. Outlook never has been and never will be a newsreader. Just keep using
whatever newsreader you want. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "BK" wrote in message ... I currently use Office 2003 and Outlook Express. As Russ already has mentioned, Outlook doesn't support the NNTP protocol to manage newsgroups. Either you are going on using Outlook Express as your newsreader (or any other software o or you're using an Outlook add-on as http://www.shorelinesoftware.com/ or http://www.mapilab.com/outlook/nntp/ -- Best Regards Christian Goeller MVP - MS Outlook http://www.outlookfaq.net |
