Eeek, moved a folder called "Upcoming Events" from one account to my
new Outlook Exchange account. The individual directories are there but the actual emails within are missing. Please help me find them? Thanks in advance, Jo |

It took a long time and it froze and I may have stopped and re-started, then I started the the process again. When I do a Google desktop search I can find the actual emails and the "view in Outlook" option shows them but I'm conscious that a future index may remove them. Jo |

Is the new acct cached mode exchange? Does 'view in outlook' show you which
folder they are in? if cached mode - do you have web access to the acct? If so verify they are on the server then right click on the folder in outlook and clear offline files. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. The folders are on the server but as in Outlook, they are empty of actual content. Jo |
