Deleting messages in Outlook XP
 

I've recently began using Office XP. When I try to delete messages a line
shows through the message, but the message stayes in my Inbox. How can I
delete such messages as done in the previous verson of Outlook?

Sounds like you are using an IMAP account and this is what happens when you
a delete a message, you need to use the Purge command from the Edit Menu to
permanently delete the message and remove it from the store.
