choose profile dialog
Whenever users click on the 'Mail as attachment' button in Word the first
thing they have been getting for the last couple of months is the 'Choose Profile dialog'. These users have only one email profile. They don't get this when they run outlook outside of Word. I have attempted to set HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Exchange\Client\Options\Pi ckLogonProfile to zero in the registry, and also ticked the box 'Set as Default Profile'. Neither of these seems to make an impact. We are running Office 2000 on Windows Server 2000. There are no email customisations installed that affect the 'email as attachment' button. This is a recent phenomena, are there any service packs that may have made this happen ? |

choose profile dialog
Service packs for Office 2000? It's doubtful, unless it was security
related. Is outlook open when they use the Send as attachment command? -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
