I installed outlook 2007 on my office & home computers. I did the office
first. On my home computer there are no messages in my inbox, but they are
there on my office computer. How do I get them to show up in both places.

your settings on your work pc are telling the email server to remove the
emails when you read them to the local pc.

on your work pc you need to configure it so when you read the email they
stay on the server so your home pc can pick them up as well.

Make sure your home pc also keeps the emails on the server also.

How do I configure it on the work & Office Computers? I don't know how toâ™*

What type of account on each PC? I'm guessing POP.

Configure each machine to leave copies of messages on the server. That's on
the Advanced tab of the account properties dialogue. Configure one of the
machines to delete messages from the server when Deleted Items is emptied
and after X number of days.

The computer that currently has all my AOL incoming email messages in
outlook is my home computer. When I first installed outlook on this computer
all of my AOL in box was transferred over to outlook. Now I am getting my
new messages on both computers. What I want is to transfer all my email
messages from my home computer to my office computer as what happened when I
first installed outlook on my home computer. Is this possible? If I
uninstall outlook on my home computer will this transfer all my AOL incoming
mail to my office computer, then I can reinstall outlook on my home computer.
Will this work, or is there an easier way?

Since AOL uses an IMAP account, all the data stays on the server. You can
create folders in the IMAP folder set and copy to them whatever you want.
If on any other PC you define an IMAP account pointing to that mailbox,
you'll see everything in the folders.

Thanks for all your help, but I am computer illiterate. Could you give me very simple step by step instructions on what I need to do to finally get me email set up correctly?
