Default Email bar

Whenever I open up an email from someone. Right under the headers there is a small colored bar that runs across it. I have noticed that I cannot click any links in the email till the bar quits running. Is there anyway to disable this.

I am using Microsoft Office Outlook 2007

Default Email bar

Could you please try opening Outlook with safe mode:

Start Run : Outlook.exe /safe

Same bar appearing again?

--- FUD Forum posts long lines to Usenet ---
Please contact the admin or moderator at your FUD Forum regarding their
invalid formatting of posts they submit through their forum-to-Usenet
gateway that they use to pretend they have a larger user community. See
the really long lines above? Your first line is 234 characters long.
Your NNTP client may wrap them but not all NNTP clients do so. The
gateway software is not properly formatting the posts it sends to
newsgroups to physically wrap at, or before, a line length of around 76
characters.
------

To your problem:

You sure that bar doesn't give you some information, like it indicates
that there is blocked content within the e-mail you are previewing? You
have left Outlook configured in its default security setup of blocking
linked (or external) content, like web beacons that can be used to track
the e-mail, often used by spammers to see when they hit a live account
so they can promote that e-mail address to the top of their hit list.
You click on the bar to allow the blocked content. Or you decide to
disable the security feature and leave yourself open to web beacons.

That yellow bar (with the info text) should remain until you click on
it. Are you saying that it eventually disappears on its own after some
unspecified number of seconds have elapsed?
