Exchange 2007, Outlook 2007. We have some public folder calendars that we expect our users to use to do things like reserve conference rooms and lcd projectors. Unfortunately, the OL designers have the Public folders well hidden. You have to find and click the "Folder list" icon, then drill down through to find the appropriate public folder. It's confusing to some of our users (we used to provide them with a link on a web site but Office 2007 security broke that). Is there any way to push the Public folders into the favorites of each users Outlook profile? It sure would be convenient. Thanks for any info. |

Nope. Do a screen shot of how to drag them into their Favorites, drop it in
Word and send it to each of them - or post it on your extranet (if you have one). Regards Judy Gleeson MVP Outlook Trainer and Consultant www.pragmatix.com.au Outlook 2003 user? Unfortunately, these users are of a class famous for being unable to follow instructions. :-( I have a feeling the calendars will end up on a sharepoint server sometime in the near future. We used to have them on a web page, but 2007 security won't let us link like that anymore. :-( Judy Gleeson (MVP Outlook) wrote: Nope.
