I am also using a windows Smart phone syncing through bluetooth, if that makes any difference - maybe that is causing the problems? PLEASE HELP! |

It is a BUG with either MS Outlook or Activesync.
If a contact is edited on the smartphone, then sync'd again, the Internet type will be set back to Rich Text! WOW, ANy way to fix this??? "ChinaLamb" wrote in message ... Since it's an edit initiated from your SmartPhone, to ActviveSync and then
in the last to Outlook, I would start in the Windows Mobile newsgroup; pocketpc.activesync You have the latest version of ActiveSync installed as well? -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more http://www.msoutlook.info/ Real World Questions, Real World Answers ----- "ChinaLamb" wrote in message ... Then you really shouldn't be using ActiveSync and I wonder how you managed
to install this in the first place. Windows Mobile based devices can be synced with Outlook in Vista with Windows Mobile Device Center. You can download this via the Windows Mobile website or via Windows Update when your device is connected to the computer. In all cases, make sure you uninstall ActiveSync first. -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more http://www.msoutlook.info/ Real World Questions, Real World Answers ----- "ChinaLamb" wrote in message ... Sorry, I used the wrong word, I am using the Microsoft Mobile Device
Center Sync Center software... I just installed version 6.1.6965. The problem is still occurring, however I cannot get it to reproduce as often as it did before. I am still getting contacts jumping from one state - Let outlook decide - to another state - Rich Text... I am so tired of this. WHY ISNT THERE AN OVERRIDE SWITCH!?? Why can't outlook just have a setting, "Always send with HTML"????? Sorry, I am so frustrated with this problem. SO frustrated. I am also wondering why this is not integrated into windows update once it is installed. "Roady [MVP]" t wrote in message ...
