c:\users\gseach.andromeda\appdata\local\microsoft\ windows\temporary
internet
files\content.outlook\alq0yqk4
....but the folder was empty.

This is the folder pointed to in the Registry.

The behaviour occurs no matter the file type. Even simple txt
files
fail to open.

does this happen for every attachment - from gif to jpg to pdf
to
word
and excel files or does it only happen with some file types?
