I use Rules in my Outlook 2003 and forward computer matters e-mails to
Computer Support folder. However, inspite have been ruled, such e-mails insist in be forwarded to Inbox instead of Computer Support folder. I repeat this customization many times. When consulting Rules about such e-mails, they appear repeated times, having add to rule (2), (3), (4), in accordance with number of repeated rules for same e-mail. Need assistance in correct above problem. Anyone can help ? |

Delete all your rules (after exporting them for reference) and re-add them,
using the Stop Processing action to avoid duplicated actions on the same email. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without reading. In such case how to proceed to get the Stop processing action, Please ??? She may be referring to reimporting them with the "re-add", but you could also re-add them by hand. The "stop processing" action is "stop processing more rules" and you can find it toward the bottom of the action list in the Rules Wizard between "run a script:" and "perform a custom action". -- Brian Tillman |
