Moving contacts to Word from Outlook 2002

Using Outlook & Word 2002. When I try to address an envelope in Word,
the contacts from Outlook are not moved over. How do I connect the
two?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks for the help.

I am trying to address an envelope using the "envelopes & labels"
function of Word XP 2002.

Word --tools -- letters & mailings --- envelopes & labels -- delivery
address icon --
Profile name "outlook" --- error message from Microsoft exchange:

"Unable to display the contents of this address book. The Contacts
folder associated with this address list could not be opened; it may
have been moved or deleted, or you did not have permissions. For
information on how to remove this folder from the Outlook Address
book, see Microsoft Outlook Help. Microsoft Exchange Client 80040201"

This has worked fine for me until I changed computers.

what type of email account do you have configured in Outlook? That error
indicates its an exchange acct.

when you are in outlook, do you see contacts when you click the address book
or To button when addressing email?
