Default Auto-Forward Rule

Hi,

Is there a way of 'knobbling' the auto forward possibility in outlook?
I dont want to disable all rules, only stop people from using an auto
forward to another email address.

Is this at all possible? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Duncan

are you using exchange server? if so, you can block it to external addresses
at the server.

Hi Diane,

I dont want to block outbound messages at the server - or no messages
would get out.

What I want to do is specifically stop people from forwarding emails
as part of a rule.

Many thanks

Duncan

You can't, other than configuring the server to not let autoforwarded
message out through SMTP. This will still let normal mail out - just not
autoforwarded mail out.

Which version of Exchange do you use?
