I have two Outllok mail accounts on one computer. One is the master the other
a secondary. The mail sent to the master account is received by the secondary but not vice versa. I want to stop the mail from mixing in either account. I've changed settings in all various manners, but it still does it. |

I forgot to add that I run Vista and Outlook 2007 and when I send test messages, they only go to the account opened at the test. |

Do you see this "mixing" when you use the webmail interface to your e-mail accounts rather than use a local e-mail client? So do you really have 2 *separate* mailboxes, or did you get stuck with a "family" account where 1 mailbox is shared amongst multiple ALIASES to it? If it is a shared mailbox then you will have to use a rule to slice apart the e-mails upon retrieval but looking at the e-mail address to which they were addressed (assuming your e-mail address is even specified which is NOT a requirement to deliver e-mail). Perhaps you have forwarding enabled in one of your accounts. Use the webmail interface to your accounts to check if either has a forwarding option enabled. |
