Outlook 2003
I click on New Appointment - the untitled appointment opens. Then I click on any of the drop downs to change the date or time and from any of those I can't change the day or time. When I move the mouse off of the current day or time in an attempt to pick a future day or time the drop down closes. The only way I can change the day or time is to type the change directly in the box. Any ideas? I've reloaded Outlook and this problem still exist. Don't know if it's the same related thing or not but I can't delete a recurring appointment. I click on one of the instances and I don't get a dialog asking 'delete this appointment or delete the series'. Thank you, Rebecca |

Sounds like you have the X-Mouse feature enabled in Windows. Do you have TweakUI installed? -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Yes I do. I've just unchecked it and that seems to solve the problem.
Thanks! Any thoughts regarding the second part of my problem? R. I click on New Appointment - the untitled appointment opens. If you open what you believe to be an instance of a recurring appointment and then view the recurrence, do you actually see something there? Perhaps better, display your calendar in a table view like "By Category" and see if you see only one entry for the event or if you see more than one entry. If you see multiple entries, then the event isn't actually recurring. It's a series of one-time events. Recurring events are actually single entries in the calendar. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Brian,
Once again, thanks. It's amazing how many subtle things are buried in the background waiting to trip you up. R. "Brian Tillman" wrote in message Any thoughts regarding the second part of my problem? That I had multiple entries for the event concerned. I had some recurring
events, so somewhere along the line I did something right but the few obsolete items that kept popping up got done as a series of one time events. Thank, R. "Brian Tillman" wrote in message What did you find out? |
