My preference is to open the program and then send and receive a bit later. there are several reasons for my choice but the main one is that if there is anything huge in 'the mail' or whatever, i'm not able to access my calendar and other features until the mail problem is solved. Thanks in advance for your help. |

Look in email options of whatever version you are using
