I used to have trial of Outlook 2007. I saved my .pst onto my computer and
now I want to use either Outlook 2000 or Windows Mail. Unfortunately I have not found a way to import the .pst file from Outlook 2007 into either of these programs. Any help would be very welcomed. |

You can't. The only way you can accomplish that is to use Outlook 2007 to
create a PST file in the older format (Outlook 97-2002). You can then open that file in Outlook 2000. No program but Outlook can use PST files. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Brandon E" Brandon wrote in message ... I used to have trial of Outlook 2007. But how do you save the 2007 Contacts list while in Outlook 2000 in the Outlook 2000 format?? Using 2007 Export, there is no option to revert to the older 2000 format! |

Sorry I mis-spoke; I have no option in Export Outlook 2007 to save a pst file
in 2000 Outlook format, at least in the trial version that I have. Am I missing an addin? I already added the MS backup utility. "Gordon" wrote: "Bill P" Bill wrote in message ... That's because you DON'T USE EXPORT! In Outlook 2007 do File-New-Outlook Data File. Choose the 97-2002 format. Then COPY all your data to the new pst file you have just created. Close the new file. (Right-Click, close). Copy that new file to the machine with Outlook 2000 on it and reverse the process. |
