I had set up my home PC Outlook to synchronize with my companies
exchange server. Well I quit my job and the owner of the company was an a** about it and did not accept my 2 weeks resignation and immediately removed me from the network. Consequently I cannot Log into Outlook at home anymore because I cannot authenticate back with the exchange server. How can get into Outlook at home? If I have to I do have the contacts all on my smartphone but I wanted to get back into the Outlook Contacts and old email. Aren't they stored locally as well on download and sync? |

You can't see the content of your Exchange mailbox though. How can get into Outlook at home? Delete current Outlook profile. Create a new one. If I have to I do have the contacts all on my smartphone but I wanted to get back into the Outlook Contacts and old email. You can't, if the contacts and old email are stored on Exchange mailbox (there are exceptions, see below). Aren't they stored locally as well on download and sync? Only if you enable Cached Exchange Mode (offline folder) - OR - If you use Personal Folder (PST) to download content of Exchange mailbox to your PC |

So in other words I would have had to enabled Cached Exchange Mode
(offline folder) before I lost the connectivity. I just did a search on *.pst, and found a backup pst that I made on 2/14/2008, can I do anything with it? |

That old mail belongs to your old employer, since you accumulated it while working for them. Did you try to select Work Offline? -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Thanks and I understand that its technically "their" email but there
are items I could certainly use as a reference for items "I" reseached (MS Dynamic. I have not been able to even get Outlook to open at all using that specific profile. |

That's been the issue, Outlook will not even open. I'll try a new
profile next. |
