Default Outlook 2007 (Trial) Tools-Options and ToolsCustomize disabled

Hi,

I've just installed Outlook 2007 (Trial) (12.0.4518.1014) onto a fresh
Vista Home Premium Platform. The install went fine, but when I accessed the
Tools menu, I found the "Customize" and "Options" menu items to be disabled.
I still have 2 weeks before my trial license expires. Is this a restrictions
on the trial version?

Thanks,
Randy

Trial versions of all Office programs are full versions limited only to the 30 or 60 day trial limit.

Have you tried running Office Diagnostics on your Office installation? Where in Outlook are you seeing these items greyed out?

Hi Milly,

I did run Office Diagnostics before I posted and all the results were
squeaky clean. The "Options" and "Customize" items are grayed out within the
Tools Menu (no matter when PIM I am currently in) . Is this what you are
asking for?

Is it possible that I need to populate outlook with some data before
these menu items are enabled?

Thanks,
Randy

My Milly,

I figured it out .... and feel pretty dumb now. It turns out that I did
not completely finish the steps in order to Activate Outlook. I only entered
the key, but did not activate it. I thought the activation window was
actually the steps to purchase the product.

Thanks anyways for responding.
