Default Opening saved messages with Outlook on Vista

I upgraded my workstation from WinXP Pro to Vista Ultimate. I am running
Outlook 2003.

Since upgrading, I cannot open messages that were saved outside of Outlook
as *.msg files. When I try to open the file, my Outlook tab flashes several
times and nothing else happens. I assume it is a security thing that is
telling Outlook it is a potentially dangerous file, but I get no error
message or suggestion on how to address the issue.

Any recommendation would be appreciated.

Got Google Desktop Search installed?
Update it to the latest version.

Thank you. That immediately corrected the problem!!! I would not have
expected Google Desktop to keep Outlook from working properly.

Thanks!!!
