We had been running Office 2003, and recently upgraded to Office 2007.
Now when users receive the new Word .docx attachment in Outlook, Outlook doesn't recognize the attachment type and won't open it. How can I remedy this?? Thanks. |

I'm not sure if they have tried that or not.
But there must be a way to get Outlook to recognize the new file extension...... "F.H. Muffman" wrote in message . com... We had been running Office 2003, and recently upgraded to Office 2007. If saving it to the desktop works, then something is wrong with Outlook. If it doesn't, which I'm wagering it won't, then you need to make sure that docx is associated correctly with Word. I wasn't just asking for the heck of it, it's actually quite important to the issue. -- -f.h. |
