Default Computer crash - delivered half e-mail

Outlook 2003/XP

The user was logged in remotely through VPN. The VPN crashed in the midst of
the e-mail being sent. The recipient received only the first paragraph. I
know in Word you can retrieve files that weren't saved but what are our
options with Outlook?

Seems to me that if the recipient received anything at all, that the message
must have been complete. What's in the Sent Items folder?

The user said there was more text to the message - the sent items reflects
the same thing.

What do you mean by "same thing" here - that there IS more in the Sent Items
copy or that there ISN'T?

Is this a one-time thing or does it always happen now?

That's what I'd do. Unless a problem is repeatable, there's no good way top
diagnose it to prevent it happening again.
