![]() When I send mail to myself (Mailbox - Administrator) , the mail just appears in Sent Items, and never reaches my Inbox. Outlook is connected to Exchange server in cached mode no errors at all. What could be th reason for this? "Folder size" on Inbox reports 0 kb on "Local data" and 5 kb on "Server data" however Inbox is emtpy, no emails shown. |

Are you getting *any* mail, or is it just mail you send to yourself that never shows up? Does the problem reproduce in OWA? Does the problem reproduce for all users, or just this one? -- f.h. |

It is the first time we started using Exchange on this server. I solved the problem. Some of Exchange services were not running, don't ask me why. Specifically, "Microsoft Exchange MTA stacks" was disabled. The odd thing is that Outlook or Exchange have not reported any errors... |

It doesn't use the service. Exchange.. well, if the service is set to automatic and the service isn't starting on a reboot of the server, then there would be an error in the Event Viewer. Either way, it's an Exchange issue, not an Outlook issue. -- f.h. |

Beats me, but, http://www.msexchange.org/articles-t...-together.html discusses services and what they do, but the MTA Stacks doesn't have anything to do with it. -- f.h. |
