Default Red X on pictures and graphics on incoming email (NO. 2)

I installed Office 2007. Things are fine EXCEPT FOR.

When I get email (with pictures and graphics) they are all in little RED x's.

I tried trust center, automatic download, with no check in "Don't download
pictures----", THAT DOES NOT WORK!!!

Please help me...

Steve

Things that might cause this (in no particular order)

1. You have a firewall that is blocking HTTP (Port 80) requests to
remote systems. Try turning your firewall off, briefly.
2. For some reason Outlook is finding an HTTP proxy defined, but the
proxy isn't working or is inaccessible
3. Your DNS service is failing to resolve the IP addresses of the
servers containing the images
4. You've got something that is causing the IP names of the servers
hosing the files to resolve to the wrong address (I do this
deliberately for doubleclick)

I've had each of these at various times. The worst was #1. When that was
the cause, turning the firewall off didn't fix it. I only found out that
it was firewall related when my company migrated to a different
firewall, and all my images started appearing.
