Delete "United States of America" from the Country/Region
Hello,
I have to REMOVE the United States of America from the Country/Region in Outlook 2003 Contacts. I tried the Following and it did not work for me: 1.. Open Outlook. 2.. Open Outlook's Contacts folder. 3.. Go to View | Arrange By | Current View | By Location. 4.. Scroll down until you see the first record with United States of America in the Country/Region column. 5.. Delete United States of America from the Country/Region cell of that record. 6.. Select all remaining records with United States of America in the Country/Region column. 7.. Click the Country/Region cell of one of the selected records and drag it to the empty Country/Region cell created in step 5. Anyone have a different solution? Thanks Michael |

What makes you think you need to remove the Country/Region entry? I know of
no reason you would need to. Enlighten me. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "ZZMHume" wrote in message ... To avoid including it in a Word MailMerge.

use the address specific fields in the merge, not the predefined address
block. Or before printing, use find and replace to remove it. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Krevel Cracker" wrote in message ... Not a reason. The country isn't included in a mail merge unless you add it
as a merge field. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Krevel Cracker" wrote in message ... To avoid including it in a Word MailMerge.
