Default Receiving emails twice

I am using Outlook 2007. I installed it today and everytime I receive an
email, it seems to be coming in twice. Any reason why this is happening and
how can I stop it.

Thanks.

If you're polling too frequently for email this may happen. Decrease polling
frequency to 10 minutes.

Also, virus scanning your incoming/outgoing mail can cause this as well. You
can safely disable this feature without compromising security, your real time
scanner will catch things. Note that in order for this to function properly,
you may have to uninstall and reinstall antivirus and omit the email scanning
part of the configuration.

Default Receiving emails twice

Thanks, I figured out what the problem was. I had two listings of my server
information in the email accounts area so that is why I was receiving the
mail twice. I deleted one entry and now I'm just getting one copy of the
emails.

Thanks for your help though.
