Default Outlook 2000 pst size

I have a user who allowed the pst to grow to over 2 gig. When I tried to
delete some files, I got an unable to delete message. I installed 2003 trying
to start over. Now 2003 is seeing the old ID and says the pst is too large.
How do I force 2003 to start over with a new ID. If the old data is lost it
is no big deal.

Use this http://www.slipstick.com/problems/repair2gbpst.asp. Then create a unicode .pst file and drag/drop the files from the old .pst file to the new.

If you want to start with a new PST, use Control Panel's Mail applet to add
one to the mail profile, make it the delivery location, then remove the old
one.

I will use the utility to resize the .pst on Monday. We will see how things
go.
