Dear All:

How do I insert an animated GIF in the body of an e-mail in Outlook 2007?
It worked in Outlook 2003.

In both HTML & Rich Text Format, I used the Insert Picture function which
placed the GIF in the body of the e-mail. However, it was not animated.
How do I make it work properly?

I don't think you can, thanks to the change in Outlook 2007's rendering
engine.

outlook 2007 does not support the animated part of ani gifs. you can insert
them and it should work correctly for recipients who use email clients that
display the animation. Recipients who use outlook 2007 need to open
messages in IE (other actions, open in browser) too see animation.

Now that's what I call PROGRESS...........

Perhaps Microsoft could spend less time making applications look pretty and
more time making them do simple things like this!
