Hello everybody,
I have Office and Outlook 2007. This should be pretty simple, but I cant figure it out. Any help would be appreciated! In Tasks, I created a custom view based on "View by Category", and I only have 2 fields - Subject and Due Date. So basically I have a table with 2 columns and a bunch of rows. My problem is that in Subject field of quite many tasks the description is very long and the table cuts it off depending on the width of the column. I want it to word wrap, just like it can be done in Excel, and have 2 lines per task if the Subject is long and 1 line is the Subject is normal. I tried everything in the "Customize Current View" box, but unsuccessfully. Google didn't help either. Hope my explanation was not very confusing. Thank you for help! |

I don't think Outlook supports that. Try using the Notes field for the long
text - it's the big white space in a Task. It may wrap (I am not sure), it will show with the Autopreview turned on though so that may get you what you want. Thank you, Judy!
Unfortunately, "Notes" field does not wrap either. Autopreview or mouse-over show the task in full, but they don't do the trick for me because I want to print this list. It is basically a list of tasks and I prefer looking at paper and carrying it around like that rather then on a laptop or pocket pc. Maybe there's an add-in or something for Outlook that will allow printing my task list in full (without cutting of part of the information)? Thank you for your help! AD |
